Where to begin?! Motovino 2017 was an amazing trip to the winelands of South Africa. We started the journey in Johannesburg where we toured museums and visited the home of Nelson Mandela. We ate and drank nightly to the rhythm of this vibrant city. We even squeezed in a day for Safari at the Pilansberg reserve. Transportation was a breeze.
Upon arrival in Capetown we found an awesome rooftop with views of Table Mountain and the breathtaking cityscape. From hiking on Table Mountain to a visit on Robben Island, there was no shortage of things to accomplish. The restaurants were magnificent and the locals were wonderful. Nightlife was amazing and I don’t think the group bothered to sleep the entire time! Of course, our trip to South Africa was all about the wine so here are the fantastic pics from the experience. We toured Frankschoek and a little of Stellenbosch for what was a fun day of tastings and picnicing. Stops included Morgenhoff, Villiara, and Haute Cambriere among others. See pics below for a recap.
All in all, we made memories that will last a lifetime. In 2018, we’ll be in Argentina! Stay tuned for more info.
